KAGYU SUKHA CHÖLING LIBRARY
KSC maintains a user-friendly library open to the public. Librarians are present to assist you with questions and research. Anyone interested in Buddhist studies is welcome to borrow books and various media covering aspects of both Buddhism in general, and Tibetan Buddhism. Also, there are some selective subjects that include studies on death and dying, Buddhist art, and locally recorded teachings by Buddhist teachers.
The Library is adjacent to the KSC office on the ground floor. A Library Returns receptacle, available 24-hours, for borrowed materials stands outside this entrance. A cabinet for returns is also available in the foyer of the sanctuary floor.
Often we are asked about how to make book/media donations to the Library. Your generous gifts are accepted throughout the year and may include Buddhist magazine subscriptions. We ask that you bring donations during Library hours, and that you include your name and contact information with the donation. You will receive a tax receipt for all donations.
The Library was founded and developed by Jan Sneider-Brown from 2002 through 2012. It now has over 900 titles and a growing media collection.
We hope you will enjoy exploring this valuable community resource! For further information or to renew library materials, please email library@kscashland.org.
