A hybrid class with Lama Pema and Lama Yeshe

Tuesdays, 5:00 – 6:30 pm, October 24 – November 21

Tuition: $158 ($90 reduced fee for self-determined financial need)

The Second Turning of the Wheel of the Dharma emphasizes the Bodhisattva Path of cultivating the awakened heart and mind (bodhicitta) and acting on behalf of all sentient beings.

In concert with the First Turning, these teachings are a way to understand the origin and nature of suffering within the human situation. Yet they offer a different set of tools to lift that suffering.

To deepen one’s loving kindness and compassion, as well as to explore the wisdom of emptiness, we will explore the teachings called The Six Paramitas (transcendental virtues), Lojong (Mind Training and the Tonglen meditation), and the selflessness of phenomena.

It is helpful to have taken the preceding class In the Footsteps of the Buddha, but not required. This class is open to everyone.

Volunteer Appreciation Party
Later Event: October 29
