We are pleased to announce KSC’s return to Buckhorn Springs for our Personal Practice Retreat in 2025. We invite you to join Lama Pema and Lama Yeshe in quiet contemplation and meditation amidst the rare beauty of Buckhorn Springs.
This retreat focuses on individual meditation, with three, 90-minute sessions each day for individuals to study and practice in solitude. Lama Yeshe and Lama Pema will set aside time before the retreat to discuss your current practices and study interests. Integrating their feedback and recommendations, you will design your practice day and know what supportive materials to bring with you. There will be periods of silence, daily dharma talks and group meditation periods with instruction. A special component of this retreat is the development of mindfulness-in-action through completing some basic tasks for Buckhorn Springs, which helps to reduce participants’ costs.
All are welcome to this retreat, both beginning and returning students.
Fees: $575 - double occupancy; $675 - single occupancy (a limited number are available)
Includes vegetarian lunches and dinners. (Please provide your own breakfasts. Full kitchens are available to all.)

No discounts or scholarships are available for this event.

Note that this retreat fills quickly, and registration will close when capacity is reached, or after the registration deadline, January 31st, 2025. We will then take names for a wait list.
Cancellation and refund policy: If you are unable to attend the retreat, immediately contact the office at office@kscashland.org. If you cancel your retreat by 1 p.m. on April 30th , KSC will refund your payment minus a 15% handling fee. Cancellations received after this date will not be refunded due to KSC's obligation for the cost of your retreat reservation.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
All registrants are asked to attend the entire retreat. For special circumstances, a request may be made to the lamas.
All participants will kindly be asked to make their own beds upon arrival and participate in cleaning on the last day, which has helped to reduce our costs.
Dana, a generosity offering, is requested for our lamas’ teaching.
