Thursday, April 22 following Calm Abiding Meditation
In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the primary meditation method is described as “visualization of deities.” The visualization method utilizes the meditator’s imagination, energy and emotion as focuses for Calm Abiding meditation. Why is this recommended? And what are these “deities?” Lama Yeshe will introduce the principles and purposes of visualization, with time for questions. This teaching can serve as a doorway for those interested in attending the weekly Chenrezig and Green Tara visualization practices.
