EMBRACING CONFLICT ON THE BUDDHIST PATH

This interactive class will provide an opportunity to review Buddhist practices that help us work with conflict situations.
In this series, we will use small conflicts and support one another as we:

  • Investigate what it means to embrace conflict using Buddhist teachings as a framework

  • Get to know our unhelpful patterns and old storylines that arise during conflict

  • Learn new skills that can strengthen relationships, even during conflict situations

Sessions will be facilitated by 2 KSC sangha members:

  • Alison Laughlin has received training in Restorative Circles and Non-Violent Communication and has experience teaching communication.

  • Sue Kretschmann has experience teaching communication, accountability, and self-management strategies.

This is a free event. All participants need to be fully vaccinated with proof. Class size is limited to 20.

Please register by 12:00 PM Sunday May 22nd,

There will be a lunch break from 12-1. Everyone is welcome!

KSC's COVID Policy

Whether coming to the Center for an event or to meet others, be sure to bring your vaccination card or a photo of the document. KSC highly recommends the booster for additional safety. In addition, please wear a mask, use the hand sanitizer provided, and plan to physically distance. We ask that no refreshments be brought into the Center, so we can remain masked at all times.

Thank you all so much for your understanding and patience as we work to find the safest ways for us to gather. We are so excited to be slowly welcoming everyone back into our beloved Center.
